Currently a full time reporter for 23 WIFR (CBS) news in Rockford, Illinois, Zoe Chipalla juggles work and full time classes towards her degree in Journalism at Illinois State University, where she will graduate in December 2021. Before she took a job with Channel 23, Zoe balanced 3 on air broadcasting internships at WZND Fuzed radio, in addition to her schooling and part-time job.
Her passion for communications and writing started almost from the time she first began to read. Over the years, Zoe discovered her purpose resides in storytelling, where she strives to draw awareness to the truth and give a voice to the public.
