MY STORY

Growing up, I was always able to express myself most through my artistic talents: writing, singing, teaching myself how to play new instruments, performing in theatre and filming movies with my friends. I always knew I wanted to earn a living that enabled me to help people and make a difference in the world, but it wasn’t until I landed in my first breaking news story that I finally listened to my inner voice and challenged myself to become a journalist. I'm so thankful I did. These days, I’m fortunate to have translated my passions into a growing career.

I rely on my ambition, empathy, versatility, creativity and inquisition in my efforts to connect with people and tell their stories. I never stop striving to learn and develop my literary style and voice, approaching every challenge I come across as an experience to grow and develop as a writer and journalist.
