MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST

June 2020 - December 2020

Part-time, paid internship where I helped produce and write the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Brainstormed, pitched, created, shot, edited and wrote VOSOTS for all newscasts.
Quickly climbed the ranks and started reporting and turning content for the 4, 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Covered breaking news and gained photography, videography and interviewing skills.

May 2020 - August 2020

Supervised dozens of radio disc jockeys and coached them on how to write scripts, turn content and lead their broadcasts.
Led weekly meetings and prepared presentations for weekly meetings with DJs; facilitated content and creative adjustments for WZND's radio shows: "Wake up Normal," "Flashback Friday," etc.
Assisted with interviewing and hiring new interns and selecting new hosts of specialty shows.
Assisted with scheduling.
Collaborated with the music department on keeping the station updated with the latest and most popular music.
